No more studentcard as of 2022

As of the 2022 academic year Saxion has stopped issuing the plastic studentcard. The card was used only at the library, but due to cost and environmental concerns, Saxion decided to discontinue issuing the card. This doesn’t mean you can no longer borrrow books at the library. Now you can just use your studentnumber.

At the self service station you can enter your studentnumber via the screen keyboard (the icon on the lower left). You may also convert your studentnumber into a barcode via an app. This allows you to scan the barcode via the cardreader below the screen on the right. Of course you can still borrow books via staff at the desk.
